Dubai - Things to do in Dubai

With the wide range of activities on offer in Dubai and the islands, you'll never be stuck for something to do.

From the desert to the city itself, there's a range of attractions unmatched by any other location in the world - where else can you go snowboarding on sand dunes, or beat across the desert in a 4x4, before going out to play a round of golf at any of the top class courses, or just lying back and relaxing on the miles of golden beach.

If you are looking for something slightly more adventurous, Dubai is home to the Wild Wadi  a state of the art water park in the heart of the city, which is so extensive it features of restaurants, and is a real opportunnity for a whole day of fun for families.

The city also features a number of scenic parks where you can go and cool down in the shade with a picnic or book - the sun can be intense during the July and August months, so it's sometimes necessary to get out of its rays.

Or if you wish, it's only a short hop from the heat of the desert to the world famous ski Dubai resort, featuring  real snow and runs of up to 400m in one of the hottest places on the planet!

At the end of the day, you can wind down in one of Dubai's many fantastic restaurants or hit the town to enjoy some of the city's fabulous nightlife or attend some of the cultural events.
